Happy Birthday Jesse!

Jesse is gone AGAIN this weekend-thus my constant blogging :) He's in Wilmington and will be home tomorrow night. I think he might have to go on one more trip this summer for school, which is great! He also presented his thesis proposal this last past week (FINALLY) and it was "accepted" so he's very relieved to have that behind him. Another semester of straight A's! I'm very proud of him because it was a tough school year and he adjusted quite well. Only we truly know how time consuming and stressful it has been for him, but please believe me, it hasn't been easy. It's been "good" for us though because we really value our time together and love having nights free to do whatever we please.

Jesse's 25th birthday was on June 8th-the day we flew back to N.C. Jesse's parents drove us to the Moline airport and when we arrived, this is what we found...



To make a long story short, there was bad weather in Chicago (our connecting flight) and we couldn't get another flight out until the next day. So, we spent the night in Moline and got home the next day. So, he kinda had a bummer of a birthday and we didn't even take one picture! :( Next year he'll have a GREAT one. :) Some of his friends threw him a little party at school though...
