The Start of Something New.....Again!

We survived our whirlwind trip to Virginia to look for a place to live! We left at 7:30 Monday morning and looked all day Monday and most of Tuesday. We signed a lease and officially have an address!! :) It was very stressful/hectic trying to find a place to live in a LARGE, unfamiliar place while trying to stay somewhat close to Jesse's office. But we are very happy with what we found and can't wait to move in on Saturday! I will post some pictures of our apartment once it's somewhat together, but I thought I would post some pictures of some not so wonderful places that we looked at...

Monday morning we looked at a bunch of places in a historic part of town. We were really excited about these and many people recommended this area.


But we were not impressed. They were dirty, small and WAY overpriced.


Some of them were charming, with potential, but we didn't consider them for a second.


SERIOUSLY, how dirty and out dated can we get?! And these were "remodeled!" No thanks.


So we changed our game plan and decided we wanted updated and modern. :) So here we are, outside of our new place.





Can't wait to show you more, but we've got last minute cleaning and packing before we get the moving truck tomorrow morning!
