An autumn walk with my love

Jesse has worked longer hours over the past 2 weeks so he could take a few afternoons off. Yesterday was so pretty and the perfect day to spend outdoors. So after we ate lunch, we left our apartment and walked across the street. One of the things we love about our location is that we basically live in what is referred to as the "Virginia Beach Town Center." It is full of businesses, hotels, restaurants, shops, etc. It's also clean and new, unlike many downtown areas.

Anyway, here is a little taste of the Town Center...

This is by the little pond, in our "backyard."

Jesse can't wait to try that Italian restaurant!

California Pizza Kitchen. We ate there last summer when we spent the night at the Westin. Little did we know we would soon be living a few blocks away!!

Pretty day in the courtyard.

I love how Jesse edited this photo.

P.F. Changs. Yes please!!!

And at the same intersection...Cheesecake Factory!! Could it get any better??

Already checked out the dessert menu and pumpkin pecan cheesecake is calling my name!

Never been here, but Leta & Jesse say it is good.

We felt we needed to conquer at least one of these places today. So we chose this.

Pumpkin amaretto and creme brulee gelatos. They were delightful :)

We also fed some ducks (mostly bullying geese). They were so funny to watch as they devoured the tiny bits of bread and eagerly waited for more. I haven't done this since I was little. Never done it with Jesse, which was fun.

Haha, this cracks me up. He must have been one hungry goose. :)

Jesse took this picture from the airplane on his way home from Alabama. You can see the Westin and our apartment complex right behind the Town Center. :)

Don't you want to come visit us now?! :)
